This report summarizes the results of trials of new fungicides and the continuing assessment of recommended products for the control of Colletotrichum and leaf rust. Derosal, Folcidin and Bavistin controlled CBD effectively under conditions of severe infection and gave substantial yield increases. Of 7 compounds tested against leaf rust none proved as effective as copper fungicides.
